Ghilotti Construction proudly sponsored North Bay Construction Corps (NBCC) Heavy Equipment Day.
The North Bay Construction Corps (NBCC) is a fantastic opportunity for last-semester high school seniors to gain valuable insights into the construction industry. Over the course of three months, participants will receive basic training in various trades and earn certifications to kickstart their careers.
As part of this program, Ghilotti Construction Company (GCC) hosted Heavy Equipment Day at GCC Headquarters. The day featured seven separate stations covering topics such as small equipment operation and maintenance, GPS technology, underground utilities, and structures.

Ghilotti Construction proudly supported local history and community heritage by donating 300 gallons of diesel fuel to Sturgeon's Mill - Restoration Project in Sebastopol!
Founded in 1914, the same year as Ghilotti Construction, Sturgeon's Mill was a captivating steam-powered sawmill that preserved a piece of our past. Retired Ghilotti Construction Superintendent Jess Todd volunteered at this living museum, offering visitors a glimpse into the past and the rich history of the sawmill.
During 'Mill Run Days' at Sturgeon's Mill on May 4th & 5th, June 15th & 16th, August 3rd & 4th, and September 14th & 15th, from 10AM to 3PM, guests had the opportunity to experience the magic of steam-powered machinery and witness history in action! It was an unforgettable opportunity to step back in time and celebrate our shared heritage.
